PARLEY'S CANYON, Utah — A traffic accident on I-80 westbound in Parley's Canyon delayed travelers Monday looking to make it home after the Labor Day holiday.
The standstill began after a boat fell off its trailer near the summit around 4:30 p.m. The accident blocked three lanes of traffic at mile marker 138.
Traffic was seen backed up for a long stretch, with some drivers attempting to illegally cross the median to head in the other direction.
