TAYLORSVILLE — Unified Police Department has safely apprehended a suspect following a SWAT situation in Taylorsville.
UPD has identified the suspect as 34-year-old Shane Lockhart. UPD said Lockhart is a Adult Probation and Parole fugitive and he barricaded himself inside a building.

UPD announced that the suspect fled from gang detectives in a stolen car before barricading himself. No injuries were reported.
The area near 3500 block of W Valley Heights Dr in Taylorsville will be closed as crews work the scene.
