After a cool start to the week, temperatures will climb several degrees higher than yesterday and hover close to average for this time of year. It's going to get even hotter by the holiday weekend & into early next week.
A dry southwest flow will keep fire danger elevated through the weekend, especially in Southern & Eastern Utah. A red flag warning is in effect for SE Utah this afternoon & evening. The highest fire danger this week will likely be on Friday.
