Still hot; Storms moving into northern Utah

Deep moisture will stay in place over Southern Utah for the rest of the week. Showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon, bringing heavy rain that could lead to flash flooding.

Some of the moisture will spread into Northern Utah today. The biggest increase will be across the northeast where rain is possible. There's just a slight chance of storms across most of the north, which could bring gusty microburst winds.

After a drying trend this weekend, more widespread wet weather is expected next week.
