Valley rain and snow will be steadiest early in the morning, then turn more spotty by mid-morning into the afternoon.
Heavy snow is expected in the mountains.
It will be several degrees colder than yesterday.
Precipitation will intensify this evening with a better chance of accumulating snow in the northern valleys overnight.
A strong cold front will move south across the state tonight and tomorrow bringing widespread precipitation.
Heavy snow in central and southern mountains tonight with winter driving conditions likely.
The Thursday morning.commute may be messy.
Showers will taper off late Thursday and it will be dry but cooler on Friday.
