Tony Horton, the creator of home fitness program P90X, was at Hill Air Force Base Thursday to conduct fitness classes for Hill personnel.
“Our men and women in uniform play a special role in protecting and serving our country,” Horton said in a statement sent to FOX 13 News. “My goal is to help the folks at Hill Air Force Base really understand the importance of consistent exercise, healthy eating and how it relates to better performance and improves their quality of life.”
Horton also met with physical fitness trainers and health and wellness staff members on base to discuss fitness and nutrition.
“He’s teaching people how to not only exercise, but how to eat in order to have a healthy, productive life from where they are now until they’re seniors,” said Roger Braner, a sustainment flight chief.
Horton ate lunch (German Potato Soup, perhaps?) with Airmen and gave them advice on maintaining top physical condition.
