SAN JUAN COUNTY — The Division of Wildlife Services is offering a reward after finding a mule deer buck that was poached in San Juan County.
The mule deer carcass was found March 10 and wildlife officials say it was killed on White Mesa Mill near the Black Mesa Butter Road. Evidence shows it may have lived for a few weeks before it died.
Officials are offering $1,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
There have been several poaching cases in San Juan County.
