SALT LAKE CITY - A man is in critical condition after a stabbing at a downtown Burger King Wednesday morning.
A man reportedly walked into the Burger King near 200 East and 400 South in Salt Lake City at around 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, stabbed another man in the neck and left the restaurant.
The 25-year-old victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and is now undergoing surgery.
The suspect is now in police custody. Police say the incident stemmed from a verbal altercation a few weeks ago.
