The new building is going up on Morning Glory Road off of Timpanogos Highway in North Lehi. The company reached capacity in their existing space in Orem at the mouth of Provo Canyon within five years of building the facility.

A representative for the company said they plan to double the number of employees working for Xactware in the coming years and need the additional space.

"I promise you that once people see this in the ground here, you will have several others start to look into this," said Jim Evans, Xactware COO. "No one wants to be the first, but we're excited to be in this location and I think that many more will soon follow in this area because of the abundance of good workers."

Evans also credited good infrastructure and support from the local and state governments for why the company chose to build in Lehi.

The building is scheduled to be finished in February 2014.
