It’s still summer and it’s still smoky! Luckily, relief could be in sight. A storm system off the west coast will most likely drift through the interior west early next week. Out ahead of it, south winds are possible. There’s also the chance of a few showers and thunderstorms. ANY combination of the above would help scour the smoke out of the valleys and improve air quality.
