CODY, Wyo. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for leads in finding a suspect who they say tried to kidnap a young girl in Cody, Wyoming.

Officers there said the suspect tried to entice an 11-year-old girl into his car at the Park County Complex by asking her to help finding his missing pet.

The girl apparently entered the vehicle, but was found a few hours later.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 55 and 60 years old. He is 6 feet tall and weighs between 185 to 200 pounds. He has short reddish blonde, possibly white, hair and has well-trimmed facial hair.

The suspect was last seeing a brown shirt, blue jeans, and a tan baseball cap, driving a white colored vehicle, possibly an SUV.

Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cody Police Department at (307) 527 8700.
