OGDEN, Utah – Ogden Police officers are investigating at the Weber County Jail after they say another inmate was found dead inside a cell.
Weber County Jail officials say 22-year-old Ieve Dominguez from Clinton apparently committed suicide. He was found hanging from a bedsheet in his cell at around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Dominguez had been in jail since being booked Nov. 1 on several warrants. Deputies say there was no indication that he was depressed.
Dominguez’ death is the second suicide at Weber County Jail in the last month.
