SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – A U.S. Bank in South Salt Lake was robbed on Thursday evening.
Police say that at around 5 p.m. the suspect entered the U.S. Bank located near 2714 South and 300 West and handed the bank employee a note demanding money and saying he had a gun.
The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running westbound on 2700 South.
The suspect is described as male, possibly Polynesian, between 5-foot, 9-inches and 5-foot, 11-inches tall with a medium build and black hair pulled into a ponytail. He was wearing a black and white baseball cap, a white athletic warm-up jacket and blue denim pants.
