BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — Two vehicles crashed on SR-30 near mile post 94.5 in Box Elder County Tuesday.
It occurred at approximately 8:40 a.m.
A Chevrolet Cobalt traveling westbound lost control on the snow-packed roads and spun around into the path of an eastbound vehicle, a Chevrolet Uplander, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
Both drivers involved were taken to the hospital.
Camille Trimble, 20, the driver of the Cobalt, suffered severe head injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle. She is in extremely critical condition.
Katie Winkler, 28, the driver of the Uplander suffered leg injuries and is in serious condition.
