ST. GEORGE, Utah — Police in St. George are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of lewdness.
Officers responded to the area of 1800 N Lava Flow Dr. around 6 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report that a man was masturbating while watching a young girl play in the backyard of a residence.
An officer spotted the man, who ran to a nearby Baptist church and fled in a white vehicle, according to a statement on the St. George Police Department Facebook page.
Police were unable to locate the suspect or the vehicle.
The suspect was described as a white man in his mid 20s to early 30s with a medium build. He was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and blue shorts with a white stripe.
