CACHE COUNTY – Two people died in a head-on collision in Cache County. It happened around 6:00 pm Saturday along SR 30.
Police say a GMC SUV was traveling too fast for conditions when the driver lost control, crossed the center line, and smashed into a Nissan pick-up head-on.
The driver of the Nissan, 70-year-old Terry Barnett, and passenger, 33-year-old Nicholas Barnett, died at the scene. Both are from North Logan.
The driver of the SUV was transported to Logan Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say slick roads played a factor in the collision.
