PARK CITY, Utah - An 18-year-old ski jumper is back home in Park City after winning the World Cup in Italy last month, and now she has her eye on an Olympic medal.

Ski jumper Sarah Hendrickson has her sight on the sport's first Olympic gold medal after winning the World Cup Games last two weeks ago.

The 2014 Sochi Olympics will be the first time women have been able to compete in the sport.

"I would love to make the Olympic team," Hendrickson said. "Anything could happen in the next 11 months. We have a very competitive U.S. team so it's not going to be easy."

Hendrickson spoke with Fox 13 News during her practice Thursday. She says she is glad to be back in Utah after spending two months on tour.

From now until the games she and the U.S. Ski team will be practicing six days a week to work on speed and technique, so they can make a lasting first impression.
