SALT LAKE CITY - Three women were taken into custody after an alleged attack and robbery at an airport motel.
Police arrested 18-year-old Tessa Brunson, 22-year-old Felicia Losoya and a 17-year-old girl after the alleged attack.
Police said the incident began as a meeting arranged via the Internet between a female suspect and a male. She then texted the other two suspects and told them to meet her at the Quality Inn on North Temple and Redwood Road, police say.
The alleged victim was then reportedly pistol-whipped and robbed inside a room at the hotel.
After the attack, police say, the three women then went to an apartment near 200 East and 800 South where officers arrived.
Two of the three suspects were arrested at around 5 a.m. Wednesday and the third was arrested after a 2-hour standoff.
"We took one person into custody but we had to clear the apartment for our safety," said Salt Lake City Police Capt. John Cardona.
Brunson and Losoya were booked into the Salt Lake County Jail and the 17-year-old suspect was taken to juvenile detention.
