TOOELE COUNTY, Utah – Two people were injured and two horses were killed after a vehicle struck the horses on State Route 36 on Friday night.

Two horses had gotten out of a corral near southbound  SR 36 southbound and made their way onto the highway shortly after 10 p.m. The passenger-side of the vehicle made impact with the two horses, according to a press release from the Utah Highway Patrol.
