MANTI, Utah — Utah’s notorious “Mountain Man” burglar, who allegedly burglarized cabins and evaded police for several years, made another appearance in court on Wednesday

Troy James Knapp appeared via video in a Manti Courtroom, and he asked for a preliminary hearing. The hearing, which is where the court will determine whether there is enough evidence for Knapp to stand trial, was scheduled for June 10.

Knapp has been charged for multiple burglaries of cabins across multiple counties in Southern Utah.
