TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – A Taylorsville road will be closed this weekend after a sinkhole opened up in the roadway.
The sinkhole is located near 5400 South and 3200 West. It’s around 20 feet deep, and while it’s three feet across on the surface of the road, Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal says it’s about 6 feet across under the asphalt.
Taylorsville City says northbound and southbound traffic on 3200 west at 5400 South will be closed through at least Monday because of the sinkhole.
