WEST POINT, Utah – Police took a man into custody after a search through a West Point neighborhood this morning.
Police say a Davis County Sheriff’s Sergeant tried pulling over 26-year-old Nathan Langlais for speeding near 1600 West and 300 North. Instead, Langlais took off, crashing his car then running away on foot.
According to police, Langlais hid from police in at least four different homes to avoid capture. He was finally spotted by a pair of off-duty firefighters and taken into custody.
No word on what charges he could face.
