LEHI, Utah — A 71-year-old man was taken to a local hospital Friday morning after a rollover crash on Interstate 15 in Lehi.
The crash happened around 10:40 near mile post 281. Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said the man was driving a Mazda Miata and a semi-trailer may have been involved in the crash.
Investigators were working to determine if the Miata and the semi-trailer collided, or if the Mazda may have been forced off the road by the semi-trailer.
The Miata driver was able to get out of the vehicle after the crash. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution due to his age.
The semi-trailer did not stop at the scene. Troopers did not have a license plate or description of the vehicle.
