WILLARD BAY, Utah – A Chevron pipeline that leaked thousands of gallons of fuel into the wetlands near Willard Bay will be back in service on Saturday.
A broken pipe caused more than 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel to spill into the wetlands near the bay. Crews are still cleaning up the wetlands.
Chevron says the pipeline passed a stress test and has been cleared to run by the U.S. Dept. of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.
They say the pipeline will run at a reduced capacity.
