Baseball players in California are being called heroes after lifting a car off a girl.
According to KCRA, about 16 varsity and junior varsity baseball players, from Valley High School in Sacramento, lifted a four-door sedan that a student was pinned underneath. They say girl “was being dropped off for an after-school program at Valley High when the Sacramento Police Department said her mother put the car in reverse, accidentally hitting her daughter.”
KCRA reports she is expected to be okay.
