SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake City Police Department said two suspects gained entrance to a jewelry store on Tuesday by impersonating police officers.
The suspects entered Jewelers Guild, 703 E 600 S., at about 11:05 a.m. and took an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
The suspects were described as having weapons and wearing light blue polo-type shirts with dark pants.
The SLCPD has released the following descriptions of the suspects.
Suspect #1
- Male black adult
- 6 feet 4 inches to 6 feet 6 inches tall
- Muscular build
- 220 to 240 pounds
- Hair in dreadlocks or ponytail, tucked under a ball cap
Suspect #2
- Male white adult
- 6 feet 2 inches tall
- 200 to 220 pounds
- possibly wearing a ball cap
