SOUTH WEBER — A deputy from the Davis County Sheriff’s Office responded to an LDS church in South Weber Monday morning after some suspicious items were reported.
The man who locks up the church at 1375 E South Weber Dr. each night was in the process of securing the building when he found a knife, marijuana paraphernalia and a book of scriptures in one of the classrooms.
“Marijuana smoke was still hanging in the air when the deputy arrived,” according to a posting on the DCSO’s Facebook page.
No suspects have been identified.
