FARMINGTON, Utah– Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday after a truck collided with a car in Farmington.
It happened near 600 North Main Street.
Chief Wayne Hansen with the Farmington Police Department said a truck driving southbound on Main Street veered into the northbound lane, hitting a car head on.
“The truck went partially up over [the car] and then that’s what flipped the truck,” Hansen said. “At some point the truck rolled onto its side. We had to extricate both drivers.”
The driver of the truck, a 37-year-old man, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the car, a 62-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital by Life Flight.
Officers said the crash is still under investigation. It’s not yet known if drugs or alcohol were involved.
