Utah Jazz center and free-agent Al Jefferson is now a Charlotte Bobcat.
According to ESPN, Jefferson agreed to a three-year $41 million deal with Charlotte that will allow him to opt-out of the contract after the second year.
The 28-year-old center reportedly agreed to sign with the Bobcats after a two-day visit to North Carolina, but the deal can’t be formalized until the free agency moratorium lifts on July 10.
Jefferson played three seasons with the Jazz, averaging around 17 points and nine rebounds during the 2012-2013 season.
