OGDEN, Utah — A family of eight evacuated their Ogden home this morning after a fire started outside the house in the power box, Ogden fire officials said this afternoon.
There were no reported injuries.
Fire crews responded to the home located at 118 West Ray St., at 7:36 a.m. The blaze caused approximately $10,000 in damage, said Deputy Chief Eric Bauman of Ogden Fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Seventeen fire fighters responded to the fire and were on scene for about four hours.
