WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -- Three people are in the hospital after a shooting in West Valley City Wednesday.
According to police, it all started when two groups of people met in a park at Parkway and 3400 West to settle some sort of dispute.
Authorities said multiple calls of shots fired came in around 10 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two adults and one juvenile with bullet wounds.
The three people were taken to local hospitals in serious condition. Police said their wounds appear to be from a handgun, but the incident is still being investigated.
No names have been released.
