Power outages in the northern part of Utah affected thousands of residents Wednesday.
More than 1,400 customers were without power in the areas of Ogden, Farr West and Harrisville.
Rocky Mountain Power officials said lightning was responsible for the outage.
Repair crews were also dispatched to Huntsville where more than 400 people had no electricity. The cause of that outage is unknown, but as of 10:45 p.m. power has been restored.
