WEST VALLEY CITY — A 32-year-old man was killed in a rollover accident Tuesday morning, according to West Valley Police.
Officers responded to the accident at 6400 West and Parkway Avenue at approximately 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival they discovered a Nissan Sentra upside down in a canal situated to the north of the intersection, police said.
Officers found sole occupant Antonio Quintanilla unconscious in the driver’s seat. Police cut the victim from his seatbelt and pulled him from the vehicle, police said.
Officers administered CPR until they were relieved by West Valley Fire medics. Quintanilla was later pronounced dead on scene.
The accident is still under investigation and West Valley City Traffic Investigators are looking into whether alcohol or drugs were involved.
