MURRAY, Utah – A missing child from Murray and his mother were found by police in Washington state Tuesday, according to KHQ News in Spokane.
KHQ told FOX 13 that 15-month-old Giovanni Marks and his mother, Lady Ashley Marks, 19, were located in the Spokane Valley area. They said Lady Ashley Marks has not been taken into custody.
The condition of the child was not immediately known.
Murray Police said Giovanni was taken by Lady Ashley Marks on Monday. Officers said she does not have custody of Giovanni per a court order.
Marks was visiting her son in Murray at his father’s family home Monday, according to Officer Kenny Bass, Murray City Police Department. Between 6:30 and 7 p.m., the child’s paternal grandmother discovered Marks and the baby were gone.
Bass said it did not appear Marks had any prior criminal history.
