WEST VALLEY CITY -- A police chase ended with a crash and two arrests Monday in West Valley City.
A man told FOX 13 that his wife's car was stolen early Monday morning in Sandy. He said inside the car was a lot of the family's personal information.
The man's daughter put information about the stolen vehicle on Facebook. Soon after, another daughter spotted the car in West Valley City. She followed the car and called police.
Unified Police responded to the call. They found the car at the intersection of SR-201 and 5600 West with two suspects inside. When the driver of the stolen car spotted police, he drove through a field, got back onto 5600 West and then crashed into another vehicle.
The two suspects in the stolen vehicle, identified as Tyler Eyre, 19, and Shelby Senteno-Hansen, 21, got out of the vehicle and ran off.
Police eventually caught up with the suspects and took them into custody.
