SALT LAKE CITY — A woman was killed after she was hit by a slow-moving train early Sunday morning in Salt Lake City.
At approximately 2 a.m., the woman and a man were sleeping on the tracks between 500 and 600 West when the train pushed them to about 1150 West, said Salt Lake Police Lt. Scott White.
The woman had a severed arm and was dead on scene. The man was transported to an area hospital with a broken leg. White said both victims were intoxicated.
