MURRAY, Utah — Two people are in critical condition after an accident involving three vehicles Monday night.

It happened in the area of 4800 South and State Street in Murray.

Police said a silver BMW was driving southbound at speeds above the 45 mile per hour speed limit. They said the BMW ended up hitting another vehicle that turned left in front of it. After hitting that vehicle, the BMW spun and hit a parked car and a pole.

The driver and passenger in the BMW were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash is still under investigation, but officers said they don’t believe drugs or alcohol were contributing factors to the accident.
