2013-2014 season opening dates for Utah ski resorts

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah’s ski industry is gearing up for another season of snow sports, and several resorts have set their opening dates for the 2013-2014 ski season.

Brighton Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort are both already open for the season, while other resorts in the state are still waiting for more snow to fall.

Brian Head Resort is expected to open Friday.

Snowbirdon Nov. 20.

Alta on Nov. 22.

Park City Mountain Resort on Nov. 23.

Snowbasin on Nov. 28.

Canyons Resort and Powder Mountainare both expected to open Nov. 29.

Several other resorts are scheduled for December openings to their ski season.

Sundance Resort on Dec. 6.

Deer Valley on Dec. 7.

Eagle Pointon Dec. 19.

Beaver Mountain said on their website they will open in December, but a specific date was not provided.

The dates provided are contingent on snow conditions and could change as the season progresses.
