SALT LAKE CITY -- Police made an arrest Wednesday after investigating a robbery at a Salt Lake City drive-up ATM.
Officers said they arrested Estuardo Pavel Vazquez in connection with several robberies that happened at the Mountain America Credit Union at 735 South and State Street.
Police said Vazquez approached people using the outside ATM at the credit union two days in a row. They said Vazquez displayed a weapon and demanded money.
Officers said the robbery victims gave police descriptions of the getaway vehicle, and a police officer spotted it Wednesday and arrested Vazquez.
According to his jail booking statement, Vazquez admitted to detectives that he committed these crimes. He remains in jail on felony charges.
