SALT LAKE CITY -- Alec Burks made the most of his fifth career start, scoring a career-high of 34 points to lead the Jazz to a 118-103 win over the Nuggets.
Burks started in place of Gordon Hayward, who missed his second straight game with a strained muscle in his hip flexor.
Derrick Favors scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
Trey Burke added 18 points and eight assists, after receiving the NBA Western Conference Rookie of the Month Award before the game.
The Jazz are now 13-26 after winning five of their last six home games.
The Jazz will start a 3-game road trip on Wednesday in San Antonio.
