TOQUERVILLE, Utah – Authorities have identified a woman who was found dead inside her home, and a juvenile person of interest in the homicide is now being considered a suspect.
The 58-year-old victim was found inside her Toquerville home Wednesday morning after police investigated a burglary.
According to a press release issued Thursday by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is Geraldine Bommarito.
The male juvenile named as a person of interest Wednesday is now being considered a suspect in the homicide, according to the same press release.
Officials also stated they had located a vehicle believed to have belonged to the victim in a rural area near Springdale. The vehicle had been totally consumed by flames, according to the release, and officials are still working to completely identify the vehicle.
