TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – A man was killed Saturday when a car he was working on fell and crushed him.

The incident occurred around 1:23 p.m. in the area near 1099 W. Putters Circle.

Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department said the 58-year-old male was underneath a Ford Taurus and had removed the front passenger wheel to perform some work; the vehicle came off of the jack for an unknown reason, and the man was crushed beneath the car.
