CEDAR CITY, Utah – Police in Iron County are investigating after a dead woman was found near a road Friday.
According to a press release from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to “a suspicious circumstances call” around 10:30 a.m. and found the deceased female on Tipple Road about 2 miles south of Cedar City.
Officials have not yet confirmed the identity of the victim or the cause of death. Officials stated in the release that the investigation is ongoing.
