MIDVALE, Utah – Police are searching for a suspect after a young boy reported that a man exposed himself to the young boy while the boy was on his way to school last Thursday.
Police officials the child was on his way to Midvalley Elementary School around 9 a.m. when a man yelled at him to ask the time, and when the boy looked over the man allegedly exposed himself to the boy.
The boy ran to school and later reported the incident to his mother. Police said the boy did the right thing when he ran away.
Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department said the suspect was described as Caucasian male who stands about 5-feet 7-inches tall and is between 20 and 25 years old. The man was wearing blue jeans the day of the incident.
Police said they have limited information about the suspect and asked anyone with information about the alleged incident to contact them at 801-743-7000.
