SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – A pregnant mother of four suddenly died after she was stung by a wasp while she was working in her yard.

WTVR reported 32-year-old Sarah Marie Schulzetenberg died when an aneurysm burst in her brain at the hospital.

Her unborn baby, who was to be named Cecilia Rachel, also passed away, according to Fredericksburg.com.

The aneurysm burst due to the stress of the allergic reaction from the stings, the article stated.

In the days following her death, friends, family and strangers have donated more than $100,000 to two funds set-up to assist her husband Eric and four children; 7-year-old Liam, 5-year-old Analee, 3-year-old Jude and 1-year-old Mary Faustina.

Mary was born with Down Syndrome.

“Sarah’s absence leaves a massive gap in the lives of these children,” a message on the YouCaring.com fundraising website stated. “Sarah’s husband Eric will need assistance in fulfilling his wife’s wishes for the children to have a faith-based education, continue on a wholesome and natural diet and support a special needs child.”
