OREM, Utah — Orem police arrested a massage parlor owner Tuesday after they determined that illicit activities were going on inside.

Police said that they began investigating Foot Massage parlor on 156 S. State Street in Orem in June, after two sources told them that customers were being offered “sexual favors” during a massage.

Investigators said they initially discovered that the phone number and address on the parlor’s business license were fake.

A few weeks later, according to an Orem Police report, an undercover detective signed up for an appointment, during which an employee “offered sexual favors and asked for $40-50 more [than what] he had already paid.”

Jie Xing, 50, was booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of sexual solicitation and unlawful massage therapy practice.
