FARMINGTON CANYON, Utah – A man was flown to a hospital in critical condition after an all-terrain vehicle crash in Farmington Canyon Thursday.
Officials said a man was riding ATVs with his family when the vehicle he was riding on rolled and landed on top of him around 5:30 p.m. as the group rode near the top of Bountiful Peak in Farmington Canyon.
Sgt. Servey with the Davis County Sheriff’s Office said the 34-year-old man was driven down the canyon by family members on another ATV and then further down by car. Emergency responders met up with the family, and from there the man was taken by helicopter to McKay-Dee Hospital in serious condition.
Officials said the man had suffered head injuries.
