RIVERTON, Utah – Police issued an endangered missing/runaway advisory Friday for a young boy who suffers from PTST, ADHD and mood disorders, but later Friday evening they said the boy had been found and is safe.
Unified Police Department officials tweeted just after 5 p.m. that 9-year-old Orion Sherrod was found at a Home Depot at 136 E. 11400 South. Employees spotted the boy and called police.
According to information from the Unified Police Department, Orion had last been seen around 8 a.m. near Southland Elementary School, 12675 S. 2700 West in Riverton.
Officials stated the boy takes several medications and said if the boy does not take them it can be dangerous for him. Concern due to his medical conditions was the reason police issued the endangered missing advisory. The child was with his sister at the school but left on a bicycle before ever going into class.
