Police in Provo offer $2,000 reward in homicide investigation

PROVO, Utah – Police in Provo are offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of a 60-year-old woman in Provo.

Police located the body of Belen Perez on May 21 in a home located at 1675 W. 50 South, and an autopsy report indicated the woman was strangled to death.

Police said the case is being investigated as a homicide, and anyone with information is asked to call the Provo Police Department’s tip hotline at 801-852-7400.
