Ogden family displaced after house fire, fire officials say

OGDEN, Utah — An Ogden house fire early Saturday morning has displaced a family of three.

At approximately 3:47 a.m., fire crews responded to 362 28th St. where they found Ogden police officers assisting two adults and a child out of the burning home. The Utah American Red Cross was called out to assist the family with any needs they might have.

The flames were contained to the attic. Fire crews faced challenges with extinguishing the blaze due to many add ons in the construction of the home, according to Ogden fire officials.

No injuries were reported among the firefighters or the residents.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Estimated cost in damage is also unknown at this time.
